A total of 140 motorcycles rolled around Barcelona streets and around some urban circuits like Pedralbes, Vallvidrera and La Rabassada.
Last June 12th, the Barcelona Motorcycle Museum has organized the 5th edition of the mythical Motoclàssica Barcelona, a city rallie for historic motorcycles produced before 1986. This event actually appears on the official calendar of the Motorcycle Week 2016, an initiative created by the FIVA (International Federation of Ancient Vehicles), which includes different activities happening at the same time in different countries.
Starting and ending point was at the Shopping Centre L'Illa Diagonal, where the general public was able to admire unique items. There were in total 140 motorcycles, around 200 participants and the itinerary a total of 50KM.
Most of the brands were Spanish: Bultaco (Metralla, Streaker, Mercurio,...), Montesa (Impala, Brio,...) and OSSA (125, comercial,...) as well as some off-road models!
The most veteran pilot was Mr. Victor Miarons, a well known collector, aged 79 years old, driving a Montesa D-51.
A big Thank You to all participants for their presence with their classic motorcycles as well as to all authorities and companies that cooperated with this event: Barcelona City Council, Sant Cugat City Council, Illa Diagonal Shopping Centre, Pans&Company, Impala Motorcycle Club, Royal Enfield Barcelona, Climax, Repco, Moturisme and Helmetdress.
