13/12/2018 - 08:59

The exhibition will be opened to the general public from January 2019 until  December 2019.

The new temporary exhibition of the Bassella Motorcycle Museum is devoted to the 50th anniversary of Montesa Cota. This is the only motorcycle that goes into production in Spain after 50 years.

Since its first version in 1968 until the limited edition presented this 2018 to commemorate its 50th anniversary, the exhibition shows a total of 44 units mass produced throughout all these years. It also includes a section dedicated to Winner Motorbikes (Ulf Karson, Marc Colomer, Dougie Lampkin, Laia Sanz, Fujinami, Toni Bou) and some very special models, such as the Cota 311 with which Gabino Renales performed an incredible moment at the opening of the 1992 Paralympc Games in Barcelona, a prototype designed by the great Antonio Cobas or a rare 247 that was adapted for enduro, amongst others.
