The project Moturisme Ara Lleida starts

The Motorcycle Museum Bassella has been awarded the Moturisme official seal, together with other 70 establishments.

The Diputació de Lleida (Regional Council) through the Tourism Board has launched a new product called "Moturisme Ara Lleida" with the aim of promoting the motorcycling tourism. It is a pioneering project in Catalonia and in the rest of Spain, which is based on a guarantee seal that identifies a group of establishments fully equipped with services, specifically designed for motorcycle's travellers. These meet all rider's requirements, so they feel comfortable everywhere they go.

To date, almost 70 establishments (tourist accomodation, restaurants, coffee shops and museums) have been awarded with the guarante seal, after having successfully reached the training and auditing process.

As was to be expected, Motorcycle Museum Bassella is part of this project and is one of the centerpieces of this project to promote and circulate it. We soon plan the creation of new routes which will serve as a connection link between all the network members. It will allow the tourists from all over the world to experience the best gastronomy, culture and incredible landscapes on a motorcycle.

During the month of October, the Diputació de Lleida (Provincial Council) gave the official "Moturisme Ara Lleida" certificates to all companies accomplishing the quality seal conditions: A total of 40 tourist accomodation establishments and 28 restaurants, coffee shops and museums.
